Weta Poem
Weta Poem
Hemideina thoracica,
Tree Weta.
Weta threats,
birds, reptiles and bats.
Look hard,
wetas can blend like trout
Brown like dead leaves
as Small as leaf
Ugly as punga the ugly god
Shy like a puppy
Up and down
through
the punga trees,
found all around the dirty ground.
Autumn and winter come
then the eggs will be laid deep into the ground,
spring comes young nymph
wetas are alive.

hi Lillie
ReplyDeleteI like how you put what weta will be on the bush track. I also like how you put the life cycle and you put the food web as well. in the poem you put a simile but nothing else.
Kia Ora Abby.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment on my blog although I do disagree with you. I believe that I have more than just a simile, I have a Synonyms where I say "Look hard wetas can blend like trout"
Over all thank you!
